The Legislative Reapportionment Commission will hold a public hearing in Allentown on September 7.

A public hearing of the 2011 Legislative Reapportionment Commission of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be held on September 7, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in the Lehigh County Government Center, 17 South Seventh Street, 1st Floor, Public Hearing Room, Allentown, Pennsylvania 18101-0240.

The purpose of this hearing is to invite testimony regarding issues of state-wide importance, in reapportioning the House and Senate districts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Individuals or groups who wish to testify at the public hearing are required to submit, in writing, a brief summary of their proposed comments on or before September 2, 2011. This summary should be submitted to Charles E. O'Connor, Jr., Executive Director, 2011 Legislative Reapportionment Commission, Senate Box 203079, State Capitol, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17120-3079.

Proposals should include a telephone number where the individuals can be reached during normal business hours. All submissions must be received by the Commission no later than September 2, 2011.

Please advise the Commission office if you require special accommodation to participate in this meeting. Anyone wishing to attend this meeting must enter the building through the Seventh Street Entrance.

Una audiencia pública de la Comisión Legislativa de Redistribución de la Mancomunidad de Pensilvania del 2011 se llevará a cabo el próximo 7 de Septiembre del 2011 a las 11:00 a.m. en el Lehigh County Government Center, localizado en el 17 South Seventh Street, primer piso, en el Public Hearing Room de la ciudad de Allentown, PA 18101-0240.

El propósito de esta audiencia pública es el invitar a los asistentes para que den a conocer sus testimonios sobre asuntos de importancia a nivel nacional, sobre la redistribución de la Casa y el Distrito del Senado del Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
