Senate District 20 & buddymadering

The shape of Senate District 20, before the new map was redrawn, formed a giant hook. The new map is no better, also forming a similar large hook. The opportunity to align districts with the intent of the Constitution is lost with the proposed redrawn SD20. Kindly reconsider the lines for the following reasons: Both maps intermingle two different watersheds - the Delaware River basin and the Susqehanna River basin. These two geographical formations are governed by two different Basin Commissions under distinct and separate missions, thus operations within the basins are impacted very differently by the rules and regulations promulgated by the two Commissions. Communities within SD20 are distinctly different, separayed by the mountains, Wyoming Valley and the large cities of Scranton and Wilkes-Barre. Industry sectors are distincly different. The Pocono Mountain Region of Pike, Wayne, Monroe, and Carbon are dominated by Tourism, while the economies of the Endless Mountains, Wyoming Valley, and the two large cities are more impacted by other sectors. The redrawn lines do not promote good governance. Thank you.
