Fairer district maps improve democracy
I am H.Scott Laird of Wayne, Chester County, 19087, in the 157th HR district. I firmly support fair district boundaries so that I may vote to choose my representative rather than s/he be chosen by legislature majority political control. The current draft maps reflect some majority party bias. My district has been subjected to biased boundaries in the past that until the 2020 election was represented unfairly. I urge the Commission to eliminate political bias in the current draft maps because that will strengthen the democratic process in our Commonwealth.
