Delco is 100% a gerrymander
This is an absolute JOKE of a map. For this committee to be chaired be an "independent" / " neutral" chair and to create this map is an absolute joke. The reality is that this map resembles a partisan gerrymander favoring Democrats. Somehow a County that is 60/40 is going to have 1 toss-up seat, so Republicans in Delco get 0 representation? In what universe is Middletown in the same district as Radnor? In what universe do you split 3 townships in the same school district into 3 districts - TWICE! Twice in Delco you split school districts into 3+ house districts. I mean this is a total farce, I have to be honest. "Independent" chair haha - this is sad. Total gerrymander and we're going to pretend this is an honest map? Please...Aston-Middletown is a community, Marple-Newtown is a community, Nether Providence-Swarthmore is a community. Stop breaking communities up so that you can draw a 60/40 County into 90/10 House districts. By the way, if you're breaking up Counties (which you do thrice in Delco), Radnor belongs in Montco WAY more than it belongs with Middletown. This needs fixing.
