Redistricting 116 to 117

Hello, I am writing to ask for your help.  The PA Legislative Reapportionment Commission has drawn new boundary lines for our House of Representatives.  Currently Sugarloaf and Black Creek are part of the 116th and has been served by Former Representative Tarah Toolhill, who lives and has her office within a few miles of us.  In drawing the new lines, they have removed Sugarloaf and Black Creek from the 116th and placed us in the 117th with areas as far away as Dallas and Harvey's Lake, almost an hour away.  If the proposed changes remain, Sugarloaf and Black Creek will be disenfranchised from our Representative.  Especially in these complicated times, it is important for our community to be properly represented. If you would take a few seconds to click on the LINK BELOW and select "Submit Exception for House", enter "Keep Sugarloaf and Black Creek in the 116th" under Title and then insert the following under Testimony Sugarloaf and Black Creek should remain in the 116th so as not to disinfranchise the constituents from their Representative.  Removing Sugarloaf and Black Creek from the 116th does not meet the principles of fairness and compactness set forth in the Pa State Constitution. Or make any comments you wish in this section on the website. https://www.redistricting.state.pa.us/commission/article/1086 There is no reason to redistricting 116 to 117.Black Creek township should be a part of lower luzerne county. We should have access within 20 mins to speak to our representative or get what what we need , especially, during Covid times, rather driving 60 minutes and not knowing where we are going. It is not broke, dont fix it.Our we redistricting to help lower votes up in that area? We know nothing of what that area needs. We know what Lower luzerne needs, our schools need, and the people of this area need.PLEASE LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE.Some of this clientele are elderly and you will not get a reply , so I speak for them as well.Black Creek Township and Sugarloaf are fine as we are. Thank you, let us, our districting and our voting ALONE!
