PROS: This map generally does a good job, especially in establishing districts that will make the House more representative of the actual number of voters in each party. I’m also pleased that districts have been drawn to provide better representation for Hispanic voters in Lancaster City and the Lehigh Valley. CON: There are two many split school districts, especially where I live in Delaware County. More than half the county’s districts are split, some (including mine) among 3 districts. Four severely under-resourced districts, including William Penn and Sun Valley, are split. This reduces their opportunity to get proper attention in the legislature.
