Save the 82nd District & keep Juniata Co. together
I am a life-long resident of Juniata County and the 82nd district. I have lived in Susquehanna, Fayette and Turbett townships. I would never dream they would split the 82nd district and not have Juniata County as one district! Although the narrow geographical layout of the county creates its problems, we are one community! My family currently lives in Turbett Township and owns our family business in Fayette Township. Under the new map ideas, our work and home would be in two different districts and both over an hour drive from any legislative offices. When the need arises for legislative services, either work or family related, this will not be a 10 minute drive but an hour in different directions! What a logistical mess! Keep Juniata County and the 82nd district together! We need things to keep us together as a community; not more things to try to divide us!
