Save the 82nd District
Being a 75 year lifelong resident and 54 year full-time employee of Mifflin County, I would like my local representation to remain as it is. Please do NOT redistrict Mifflin or Juniata Counties. The demographics are similar, and the commodities function well with one another. Redistricting would cause citizens to lose the “Local government” benefits by changing the location of that representation to an area who doesn’t understand our local issues. Longevity and consistency help communities function well, saving money, supporting one another,,, please keep our community LOCALLY represented. A new district would not be fair representation to Mifflin and Juniata county. My “local” office would be over 45 minutes away, not 10. Please do not redistrict.
