Too many interested groups seem to advocate certain maps so a particular demographic group(black,brown,AAPI,latino) gets the representative "likie them" This breakdown of the electorate by racial identity groups is poison to the political process. The implication is districts should be drawn solely on the basis of Race, and that only a black representative can represent blacks, only an Asian can represent Asians, only Latino's can represent Latinos and only Whites can represent Whites. If this is the attitude, then their would never have been a President Obama. Redistricting to effectuate a de facto racial quota should be allowed. Race should not be a substantial factor in the redistricting process--
