Restore the 97th
Please reconsider the atrocity that is the new 97th district. The old 97th was completely north of Lancaster city, now you have made it north, east, south, and west of Lancaster city. It was nearly twice as compact - with a Polsby-Popper value of 24.7 versus the new value of 12.0. There is only minimal community continuity as only a tiny portion of the 97th is even in the same area as the new 97th, the vast majority of the new 97th is all new territory. It's obvious that you arbitrarily split Lancaster City - which was certainly NOT absolutely necessary - for purely political purposes in creating a gerrymandered 96th district. This ought to be reversed and the 97th should continue to cover the compact area north of Lancaster city comprising generally of Manheim Township, Lititz, and Warwick Township.
