HD-168 Gerrymander!
We need to keep our communities with common interests WHOLE! Marple-Newtown School District should not be split among 3 state representatives. Rose Tree Media School District should not be split among 3 state representatives, especially when it's only been represented by one representative over the past three decades! Include your personal beliefs. As a resident of Middletown Township I find this blatant Democratic Gerrymander a slap in the face to any "fairness" we had left in our redistricting process. To split the Rose Tree Media School District and divide so many areas of the Media zip code is outrageous and it's all in the name of giving the Democratic Party a safe district. The Democratic Party says in wants "competitive" districts, Rep. Quinn's previous 168th District was extremely competitive. President Biden and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton both won the district, yet Senator Toomey and Rep. Quinn both have won the district and the last two state house elections have come down to 450 and 800 vote margins. The new district would create a district that Democrats would have a 23-point advantage in. That hardly seems "competitive." Do us all a favor, keep our communities of interest together! Media Borough, Middletown Twp. Upper Providence, and Edgmont should not be split!
