Like my COI and new Senate area
12-29-2021 Dear Commision Members, I am writing to thank you for putting Upper Mifflin Township, Cumberland County in with the western part of Cumberland County HD 193 truly our COI. I also like the addition of Senate District 34 for Cumberland and Perry, part of Dauphin. We lose Rep. Perry Stambaugh HD 86 and I am sad to see his new district will overlap with another Republican incumbent which is unfortunate. My complaint with the house redistrictioning is it pits too many (disportionate when compared to affected Democrats) incumbent Republicans against each other with the new drawing of these districts. That should be corrected to no more than 5 or 6. That would be a sufficient number to correct the perceived error felt by the Democrats with the current map. Any more than that seems to be deliberately punitive to the Republicans and unfair and unjust. In a new district with Patti Kim (D) I don't see what East Pennsboro, Cumberland County has in common with Harrisburg, Dauphin County. It is odd. However, I can see the connection with Camp Hill Borough, Cumberland with Harrisburg. Thanks again, Theresa Myers
