The Redistricting Makes No Sense

I have seen other people writing about Lower Bucks County, which inspired me to write about my own community within Lower Bucks: Levittown. Levittown is composed of large parts of three townships: Middletown, Bristol, and Falls Township as well as Tullytown Borough. I live in Middletown, own a business in Bristol, and many of my customers come from Falls. Levittown was built in the 1950's as one of the first planned suburban communities in the United States. For many, many families here, when children grow up, they may move out of their township, but they stay in Levittown. People are far more likely to say "I live in Levittown" than "I live in Middletown" or "I live in Bristol," etc. Levittown is really its own community. The Senate map as currently draw divides Levittown into two Senate districts. Middletown is in the 6th senate district, while Bristol and Falls are in the 10th. Meanwhile, we have places like Wrightstown and Warwick in the 6th, and places like Newtown and New Hope in the 10th. This makes absolutely no sense. There is no world where Bristol should be separated from Middletown, but in the same district as Doylestown. It simply defies common sense. LRC - please stop the gerrymandering nonsense and keep Levittown together
