Bethel Park Senate District
The proposed Senate District for Bethel Park should not snake around the edges of Allegheny County from south to west and then north. Bethel Park, Mt. Lebanon, Whitehall, Upper St. Clair and other surrounding communities in the south suburbs of Pittsburgh should be in one district. We have common concerns and issues that should be represented by the same Senate member. I am happy to see that only municipalities in Allegheny County are included in the current senate maps as our concerns are not always the same as the counties surrounding us.
