Penn State Students Assessment utilizing LionLink

The state of Pennsylvania helps fund Penn State University. During Jan-2022, PSU through LionLink is looking for projects for students to support for a few weeks. My recommendation is that the Redistricting Commission take advantage of this talent and get 4-5 data analytic students to review data independently to let you know if your maps are fair or full of discrepancies. If the commission is struggling to get fair maps done, these students could probably get it done in a day for you. Here is the info on getting support with LionLink Projects. You just need one PSU alumni to get it arranged (surely you have blue & white on your team) LionLink Projects is a new initiative offering experiential learning opportunities to students and recent graduates offered by Penn State alumni each semester. Alumni gain support for their business or organization, while recent graduates and students get to apply their knowledge and acquire real-world experience. Most important, participating Penn Staters form mutually beneficial professional connections by working together. What qualifies as a project? LionLink Projects should complement, rather than replace, responsibilities typically completed by paid staff, while providing significant educational benefits to the student or recent grad. Benefits might include building or refining skills, learning about the industry field or project focus, and practicing professional competencies such as teamwork and communication. Your proposal is likely to be suitable for LionLink Projects if: The project can be completed in a virtual environment. It is résumé-worthy. The project will give students or recent alumni an opportunity to demonstrate their skills to a prospective employer. It can be completed with 10 to 40 hours of work, in a span of 2 to 10 weeks. It meets Fair Labor Standards. Suitable projects may include: Creating a social media campaign Designing a website Creating a logo Analyzing data Supporting a fundraising event Conducting research Researching and writing grants Performing SOE analysis Drafting or forecasting budgets Conducting market analysis Creating or mapping data Editing books or videos How to Post a LionLink Project Step 1: Log into your LionLink account.
