No Redistricting

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have taken the opportunity to review the newly proposed changes to the 82nd legislative district of Pennsylvania. I would like to express my definitive opposition to the proposed legislative map for the 82nd district. The new proposition will align rural areas of Pennsylvania together, that have little to nothing in common and will make it extremely difficult for some residents to have adequate representation. Should some of the residents wish to communicate with their representative in person, they would need to commute 40 to 50 miles, in order to do so. This is unacceptable. Many of the services, now available, would be eliminated completely, or greatly reduced. I also have great concern about the motive of those unelected officials, who are proposing the redistricting maps. It would appear that there is a significant amount of politics involved with the newly drawn maps. Please consider throwing out the newly proposed districts and continue with the districts, that are currently in place. There have not been any major issues with the districts currently in place and they are working just fine. I appreciate your assistance with this matter. Thank You, Jeffrey Henry
