Doesn't Represent Manheim Township Community
I’ve lived in Manheim Twp. for 13 years, and I attended Elizabethtown College. The Senate district 36 does not create compact a compact District. We should not split up Lancaster Twp. and Manheim Twp. – who share a police force and emergency services. Having lived in Elizabethtown, I can tell you that the culture and community are nothing like Manheim Township. Manheim Township is suburban and more like Lancaster Township and Lancaster City. We share resources like Fire, Police, and other critical emergency services. Manheim township and Lancaster City are partnering to deal with Storm water issues. The Senate District needs to represent the communities of interest. Please consider moving Manheim Township to Senate District 13.
