Adams & Cumberland County
Why is it necessary to split both Cumberland County and Adams County in half to form two districts? In Adams County, even one of the townships with a Gettysburg zip code is not included in the district (91) with the remaining Gettysburg townships. When state, county, and local governments work together seamlessly, more is accomplished. Keeping each county intact and as its own district will be better for communicating goals, working on bills/projects/grants, and representation. Adams County's agricultural, agritourism, and economic development needs to be represented by a state representative that understands the county's economic needs not just the economic needs of bustling Cumberland County.
