Senatorial District 33
When Senatorial District 33 was changed a few years ago, the representation of Adams County was lost to the more populated Franklin County (Chambersburg), the economic needs of an interstate hub, and a perspective that Adams County is equal to the historic Battlefield. The Gettysburg National Military Park is federal land and the senator for district 33 should focus more on that which is controlled by the state and local government entities. Knowing how to navigate the unique relationship between the value of history and the value of progress in an economy largely dominated by tourism, agriculture, agritourism, and future economic growth opportunities is best achieved when Adams County is partnered with York County.
