Objection to State Senate proposed districts

The proposed State Senate districts for Lancaster County are gerrymandered in a purely partisan manner to dilute the votes of Democrats in both districts by splitting the two districts right through the middle of Lancaster county. Instead there should be one State Senate district of urban and suburban Lancaster county comprised on Lancaster city, Lancaster township (where I live), Manheim township, Millersville, East and West Hempfield, Manor towhship, and Columbia. All of these communities have interests in common that differ from the rest of Lancaster county which is overwhelmingly rural in character. One state senator for Lancaster county should represent the distinct interests of these communities as a whole in Harrisburg instead of being divided. This proposed state Senate district would be highly competitive but also much more representative of the actual distribution of political sentiments and interests in Lancaster county. Instead of two extremely conservative senators in Harrisburg, there should be one district that requires a more moderate/centrist political contest.
