Do NOT split up Bangor School District House Reps!
As a life long Bangor Area School District resident, with a child in the schools here, I STRONGLY object to Upper Mount Bethel Township and Portland Borough being removed from the Slate Belt and splitting the Bangor School District between two state House seats. There has been no public information shared as to the real reason for this, and many feel it's completely unnecessary. Our school district does not need MORE complications and more cooks in the kitchen. Nothing good can come from a non-local house seat repping our school district.
