Sneaky way to reduce Wyoming County representation
As I understand it, according to the preliminaries, all of Wyoming County and part of Lackawanna County have been removed from the 117th. This would result in the 117th being largely merged with the 116th Legislative District to encompass a portion of Luzerne County. As I see it, this is a sneaky back-door way of reducing by dilution the representation of Wyoming County. I oppose this redistricting attempt. We folks here in Wyoming County pay our taxes and deserve full representation in return.
