Opposition to Redistricting
I am writing again to protest the planned redistricting of District 44 in Moon Township and Quaker Valley areas. I live in the Sewickley Hills area of Quaker Valley, District 44. It is important to keep all boroughs together in one school district and makes no sense to have them in 3 different districts as planned. This will not be good for the people and can only be detrimental in the long run when it comes to public services such as ambulance, fire, water, etc. Communities should have all public services under one umbrella, not spread out among three different districts. As Quaker Valley explores building a new high school, this is especially important. This should be about what is best for people, not politicians!
