Opposition to 117th District Redistricting
I am writing in opposition to the planned redistricting of the 117th District that covers the Lackawanna Trail School District area. I live in La Plume Township and my family is in the Lackawanna Trail School District. It is important to keep all 8 boroughs and townships together in one school district, represented by the same individual. In addition, the redistricting would not only break up our district, but all remove the current representative, Karen Boback, that was elected by our constituents to represent local needs. This change will result in a disservice to the community that has ben fairly represented until this time. Please reconsider the proposed changes and keep the district wholly represented by the official the community elected.
