opinion on redistricting map currently proposed
Looking at the proposed map it appears that the developer or developers are not concerned about tearing communities apart. I disagree with the splitting, for example of Murrysville into two voting districts. We are one local community with our municipality covering all of Murrysville and now should be represented by two different representatives in Harrisburg?!?!?! That does not make sense at all. The same goes for other neighboring communities. The redistricting idea is a long traditional affair and i understand that, but it should not be used to separate / split communities in two. Don't make the numbers work this way. Rework the proposed map, please.
