189th cannot change

I am a resident, homeowner, taxpayer of Barrett Township, Pa. I reside in an area that is UNDERREPRESENTED in our state Senate. In my 11+ years of residency I have NEVER felt my voice mattered. We are purposely and unimaginably grouped with Scranton, a large city to our North that shares nothing in common with my area. And NOW, through resdistricting the state house Representative for the 189th, you seek to put the final nail in the coffin for our voices to be heard. It is unacceptable that it should even be considered that our district be "reshaped" to ensure that Republican voices are censored. Hear this clearly; we will not accept the proposed changes to appoint Rep. Madden. We did not vote for her, we do not want her. Our current state Representative is available to us, hears us. She is not a partisan activist. Although it's clear that whomever put these new maps together for our district is. In doing this you make clear your agenda. We are not interested nor will we accept LESS representation of our area. We are small, close knit community and reject this deliberate attempt to silence our voices. We do not want to be part of Stroud Boro so that our voices will be silenced. This will be almost as egregious as our current Senate districting. Your preliminary plan leads to only one conclusion: CURRENT district map is perfectly fine. This new sham is not. Do not expect that because we live in less population dense areas that our voices matter less. I ask one final question. Have you actually spoken to the people in the area you wish to disenfranchise? The answer is obviously not, because this attempt to keep our voices from being heard would never have been attempted.
