United we stand, divided we fall!

The PA Legislative Reapportionment Commission (LRC) recently released a preliminary redistricting map that divides Moon Township and the Quaker Valley into three separate House districts. These communities currently share public services including ambulance service, fire, police, sewer and public schools, just to name a few. Dividing the 44th House District and these critical public services makes absolutely no sense and would negatively impact the communities that they serve. Communities should have a voice in defining how they are governed and they should not be divided merely to satisfy a political agenda that does not serve the best interest of the people who live, work, worship and play there. The people of the 44th House District know what is best for their communities and stand united against the proposed redistricting that would divide us. I urge the LRC to reconsider and keep the 44th House District whole.
