Input into the composition of Senate District 42
My family and I live in Mt. Lebanon, Allegheny County. At present, Senate District 37 is comprised of Mt. Lebanon and other South Hills communities. Many municipal resources, and commercial districts are shared between these contiguous communities, to the benefit of each. The proposed District 42 would move Mt Lebanon into a district comprised of parts of Pittsburgh and communities to the north of the city. The geographic separation contemplated would impede the types cooperative relationships between the member communities that is enjoyed presently. Accordingly, I strongly encourage the commission to keep Mt. Lebanon as part of the 37th Senate District.
