Proposed House map of Cumberland County
Like many residents and elected officials I strongly disagree with the treatment of Cumberland County in the proposed map. Specifically I disagree with eliminating a legislative seat from the fastest growing county in the state and the division of Mechanicsburg borough. I also disagree with the separation of Upper and Lower Allen Townships which share a community of interest that Upper Allen does not with the areas to the west. Upper Allen and Mechanicsburg also reside in the same school district and belong in the same district. Thank you for your consideration of this comment
