Mr. Bruce Cromell

Dear Commission Members, I recently saw a copy of the Preliminary Reappointment Plan of the Senate of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania House of Representatives filed by the 2021 Legislative Reappointment Commission with the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth, in my local paper. This map as it concerns the citizens of the Borough of State College, and the surrounding townships is a clear case of gerrymandering if I ever saw one. It is unfair to draw lines like this, that split the State College area in two. The only reason for it, is to deny the citizens a voice in the PA legislature that represents the State College area and its majority Democratic constituency. Please adopt a fairer representation of our area and not split off the borough, Patton, Halfmoon, and part of Ferguson into one district, and the rest of the surrounding townships and most of Ferguson into another. With our current districts subdividing the State College area, it is no wonder I can never get a response from my state representative, on issue and concerns I have now. This proposed map is no better. Where is our representation? Thank you, Mr. Bruce Cromell
