Opposition to the redistricting

As a resident of the West shore living on other side of the river dividing the city of Harrisburg from the residential community’s of Wormleysburg, Lemoyne, Camp Hill and Enola I want to object to the redistricting plan to include our communities with the city of Harrisburg and the East shore. We are very different communities from the city with different needs and different social issues that have always been divided by the river and that natural division should stand as it has in the past. The residents of the city have different issues and the residents of the West shore communities have separate issues that neither would consider compatible. Our voting districts East and west as well as our Representatives have served our residents and our issues without any interference from the issues of the city and that is the way it should continue. As I have long suspected this is a polically motivated attempt to historically change our communities. If you change our district I will fight you tooth and nail because I have no interest voting along with the residents of the city and the city residents should have no interest in our issues. Historically the division line is the river a natural boundary and it should stay that way. David W. Hull BelleVista Drive Enola, Pa.
