Keep the 99th As It Is
Having done my research, I am still trying to determine the "why" behind these changes which then leads me to believe it is gerrymandering. For the 99th district it makes no sense to include parts of Berks County into our district while diluting our vote by eliminating Ephrata and New Holland. Rep. Zimmerman has a solid relationship with the constituents of those areas and we would be negatively impacted as would the constituents of Berks County who have a relationship with their representative. It aggrieves me that in these times of voting audits, vaccine mandates and countless other issues plaguing our freedoms that you choose to spend your time working on this. Or is this just another attention deflector from those issues? This does nothing but further eat away at the trust you hold from We The People.
