District 29 coherence
I object to the Commission’s proposed changes to the current map for District 29. I believe that splitting our Centennial School District adversely affects the cohesiveness of our Warminster community. The communities of Ivyland, Warminster, andWarwick are closely connected by their proximity and makeup, sharing similar concerns regarding land usage and economic development. Expansion into a much larger community base with New Hope, Solebury, Chalfont, New Britain potentially reduces the respect for a feeling of voter’s having a strong sense of common concerns and could instead cause divisiveness, resulting in a negative impact for all citizens involved. We have lived in Warminster for 40 years and have always felt well-represented. I object to a change that will negate our voice being heard.
