District 29, Warminster Township
I am writing to share my disappointment with the removal of Warminster Township from District 29. . It appears that Warminster was switched with Chalfont and New Britain . I don’t understand why the need for the change. District 29 Representatives have served Warminster for a number of years. The attachment of Warminster to the new district 144 seems to be a disconnect. Likewise the same for Chalfont and New Britain. I realize that this process is very political and intended for the benefit of the politicians. When reviewing the changes it appears the representatives with the fewest years serving their current districts are experiencing that greatest changes. Schroeder (75%), Polinchock (53%), Thomas (46%). The other representatives in Bucks County show very little change in the communities they have represented. Is this intended to ensure their continued election from their district? In closing, this process is grossly flawed. When all is done the maps will protect the majority; most senior currently elected representatives. Current elected politicians should not be the map makers. Respectfully Michael Lecker Warminster, PA
