Don't "Crack" Us

This map actually was drawn (and also submitted, separately) by Debra Trudeau, also of State College. It corrects a flaw in the proposed Senate map whereby State College Area School District would be split (or should I say “cracked”, to use the gerrymandering term?) needlessly in two. The Centre region is divided between two districts which sprawl far to the north and west. According to the proposed map we would be ignored by two Senators rather than one. This map, instead, makes an adjustment which corrects that deficiency while still achieving population targets.
