Don't use 10 years to limit prison gerrymandering

Majority Leader Kim Ward has introduced a resolution to exclude any incarcerated person who has more than 10 years left on their minimum sentence. This is an attempt to role back the fair decision previously made by the LRC. It is arbitrary and goes against the concept of fair representation for all citizens. As a resident of a district with several prisons, if approved, it would give me more representation than other citizens of our state which is manifestly unfair.
