Centre County House Districts
My name is Peter Marshall and I am an elected Council member of State College Borough. Thank you for the transparency of the process. Centre County has begun to lean more Democratic in the past years.Centre Couty is currently split into four different House districts, three of which are connected to counties that are more Republican. The House preliminary proposal which keeps the population centers in a more compact and contiguous manner and provides for three districts rather than four is more fair to State College and the Centre Region. I hope you will take that into consideration when you draw the final map.
