More support for the People's Map
January 13, 2022 Dear Members of the LRC, I would like to add my voice to the choir of people from the Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill parts of Philadelphia in opposing the proposed LRC proposed map and supporting the People’s Map created by Fair Districts PA as it related to the proposed boundaries of the current 200th legislative district. The People’s Map keeps together important communities of interest; the proposed map divides us up in ways that just don’t make senses and includes us with neighbors that have a major park between us and them and are not easily accessible to one another. I respectfully request that the LRC keep all of Mt. Airy together in one district and keep us with Chestnut Hill as proposed in the Fair Districts PA’s People Map.
