Centre County/Centre Region
The proposed senate map divides Centre County into two districts and combines the greater area with 5 rural counties unrelated in economic, social and cultural interests. The result will be that State College Borough, Patton Twp., Harris and College Twps. voters will not have a true voice with rural districts dominating. This protects GOP incumbents from rural areas like DuBois and Rep. Cris Dush. The district exploits Centre County's people and economy while suppressing its voters. A better district with aligned interests would be: Centre, Clinton, possibly Mifflin or Union counties.
