Argument against 86th district changes

The proposal for the 86th district appears to not take into consideration the current relationships with Cumberland/Dauphin County. Currently the 86th is all of Perry and a portion of Cumberland County. The new proposal removes Cumberland County and adds parts of Juniata County. Perry County has numerous relationships with Cumberland County including Tri- County Planning Commission, Cumberland Perry Housing Authority, Cumberland Perry Mental Health Services, Children and Youth Services, Services for the disabled, ARC of Cumberland Perry County, Domestic Violence services. All of these service connections between the two counties makes a case to maintain the current 86th district of Perry and Cumberland Counties. In addition, Perry and Juniata counties are part of two different PennDOT districts. I humbly request that you review the proposed map and take into consideration the relationship between the current 86th district of Perry/Cumberland Counties vs. the proposed 86th district of Perry/Juniata Counties.
