Opposition to changing the 123rd District
It makes no sense to separate Shenandoah from the 123rd District and at the same time keep Shenandoah Heights in the District since the two share many municipal services in this small, impoverished area. Placing Shenandoah, along with Mahanoy City and Mahanoy Township in a different district seems to me to be another example of the excesses of gerrymandering.There is absolutely no reason to take such an action, and I am strongly opposed to this redistricting plan.
