LRC's Maps Will Stop Partisan Gerrymandering
I am writing to express my strong support for the redistricting maps put forward by the LRC. Having lived in Pennsylvania for four decades, I have seen the damage wrought by illogical legislative maps developed to advance partisan interests. In these difficult times of hyper-polarization of political parties, we need fair legislative maps more than ever. The LRC's maps reflect the current demographic trends in Pennsylvania and create districts that maximize representation for all Pennsylvanians. They will allow Pennsylvania to be at the forefront of the movement to end partisan gerrymandering. In so doing, they will reduce cynicism about politics and encourage Pennsylvanians of all ages across the ideological spectrum to participate in our political process, to the benefit of all.
