Hello, My name is Kevin and I currently live in Philadelphia, specifically in House District 202. I believe the district attached more accurately portrays the multicultural features of this area as well as the community of interest. For example, in the previous District 202, Oxford Circle, a neighborhood in Philadelphia, was split into three districts, one of them being 202. Oxford Circle is a very diverse neighborhood, and continuing to slice it up would be apathetic towards the constituents of this neighborhood. The district presented successfully eliminates this issue by making District 202 represent all of Oxford Circle, and additional precincts of Mayfair, a neighborhood similar to Oxford Circle (COI). The district is also very compact and effectively represents minorities and the diverse COI, with the district being 19.4% white, 28.0% Hispanic, 32.1% Black, 19.4% Asian, and 1.8% Others. I urge you to consider this district for use in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Doing so would enormously help our community have fruitful representation in the general assembly and keep our community and neighborhood together.
