As a councilman who serves on the Council of the Borough of Shenandoah, I object to having out borough gerrymandered into a district with the city of Hazleton? It is not necessary to take take us, Mahanoy City, Ringtown, and other small communities in our part of Schuylkill County, that have long been part of the same culture, identity, needs, and shared experiences as us, and put us into a district that is made up mostly of Luzerne County? I hope and pray that our needs and wishes will be listened to, and that we will remain in the 123rd district. Thank you. John M. Thomas Councilman Shenandoah Borough
