Proposed Senate District 44
Senate Districts in the south east have too many people in them and that dilutes our vote. This is an area of the state that has grown in population and will continue to grow. This map will be in place for 10 years and the dilution of these votes will be magnified every year. This can easily be changed, as there are areas of the state where districts are underpopulated. Therefore, I am not in support of the proposed Senate map. I live in the 44th District and my vote will be diluted by this map.
