Don't split State College
While statistical evidence still shows that both the newly proposed State House and Senate maps are gerrymandered in Republican favor, the House map is a decent improvement over the old map for the State College area. The school district looks intact and the town isn’t chopped to pieces. Please consider doing more work on the Senate map—Centre County definitely shouldn’t be split up the way it is, and State College especially shouldn’t be split. I’ve read up on local analyses that suggest the Senate map protects incumbents at the expense of fair representation—how about we have districts designed for the needs of the people instead?
