Keep CH and Mt. Airy United in the 200th

I respectfully ask that you keep Mount Airy united with the rest of Mount Airy and Chestnut Hill with the 200th District, as it is currently. The proposed redrawing of legislative districts to split Mount Airy into 2 legislative districts, as well as moving Chestnut Hill to the 194th, may make sense looking at a map as geometry ( yes, it is more square) but makes little sense culturally or socially. Having grown up in East Mount Airy and now the owner of the house I grew up in, I have always identified closely with the way of life that the diverse people in our area embody. We do our shopping, eating, recreating and living together in a historically diverse neighborhood with shared interests, politically and economically. I agree with testimony by both Representative Rabb and Representative DeLissio, that the proposed district would be divided by the Wissahickon, which has always been a natural geographic boundary. Please keep Mt. Airy and Chestnut Hill united in the 200th with the rest of the Upper Northwest. It truly represents the constituents best interests. Thank you, Kate Galer
