New districts in Delaware County
Like many residents in Newtown Square, I would like to see the redistricting keep existing school districts in tact and in maintaining a spirit of inclusion. The current proposal splits Marple, takes in Radnor, and does not consider a diverse population. The new plan worsens the economic divide by making the representative a supporter of middle to upper middle and even upper class voters with opposition to integrating the community economically.
