Absolutely Minimimize Splitting Our Communities
This applies to both PA House and Senate Districts. The PA Supreme Court (unlawfully) developed a Redistricting Plan only a few years, the Census Changes are not major, so the new Redistricting Plan should not require major changes. Yet, for political reasons, major changes are being suggested. So many communities are being split up, which will cause much confusion and problems for the citizens of those communities. Please absolutely minimize the splitting of communities, like Murrysville, and split none for political benefit of either party. The current proposed maps are clearly political, insulting and harmful to many citizens and communities. The LRC, and especially Mark Nordenberg, should be ashamed of themselves and their biased behavior. We citizens will hold our legislators accountable for not working together to produce fair maps that minimize splitting of communities.
