Do Not Redistrict the 168th district
In learning of this redistricting I did some research as well as reading a number of the other comments. My concern is for the school districts that will be divided Rose Tree Media and Marple Newtown, How can any one in good faith split school districts? As a school district you have friends and neighbors with similar interests and common goals and hopefully support from government. If you divide our districts into 2 and 3 different ones, who do we go to? Where do we get support? Ask three different resources for support and services? This sounds counter intuitive to me. How can you explain this? The 168th district after 50 years split into 4 different districts? And why combine one of those with Radnor in which there is no common entities - hospitals, police, fire, recreation, etc? This is very concerning and I respectfully ask the commission to re-review and re-evaulate.
